Due to the fact that players must strategically choose which cards to discard and carefully manage their hand, classic rummy is a game that calls foapp ludor both skill and luck. A common game variation in India and other South Asian countries is called Indian Rummy. Usually, two to six people play with two 52-card decks—one with jokers—per deck. Indian Rummy's goal is to form sets and runs of cards in the hand, much like Classic Rummy's objective.
