With dozens of bracelets already awarded this summer (and one not awarded), it's time for another update on the World Series of Poker Player of the Year race.

Last update, Wisconsin's Yosef Fox led the way after winning Event #11: $10,000 Mystery Bounty. But seven-time bracelet winner Benny Glaser now occupies the top spot with 2,035.53 points after consecutive bracelet victories this summer.

Glaser, who is arguably one of the most underrated WSOP players in the past decade, took down Event #8: $1,500 Dealers Choice for $150,246 just days before winning Event #15: $1,500 Mixed: Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better for $258,193.

Bohlman, Garza in Contention

In second place in the POY race is Scott Bohlman (1,827.28 points), who cashed four events before shipping Event #17: $2,000 No-Limit Hold’em for $436,044 and his second bracelet. He's followed by "Sweet Lou" Garza (1,623.36 points), who overcame a massive heads-up chip deficit against 2011 WSOP POY Ben Lamb to win $1,302,233 and a second bracelet of his own.

Further down the top-ten list are the likes of Caleb "Bruno" Furth (1,434.48 points), winner of Event #5: $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha for $620,696 and his second bracelet, and Nick Guagenti (1,397.80 points), who denied Chino Rheem the Triple Crown to win his third bracelet and $295,008.

Rounding out the top ten are Michael Wilklow (1,366.77 points), Blaz Zerjav (1,348.24 points), Ramaswamy Pyloore (1,332.55 points), and Brad Ruben (1,316.47 points).

Notables climbing up the ranks include online crusher Chris Moorman (1,254.38 points), high-stakes end boss and $25,000 Heads-Up Championship winner Artur Martirosian (1,109.73 points) and poker villain Martin Kahbrel (1,044.05 points).

Fan favorite Daniel Negreanu is currently in 53rd place with 750.07, but he'll see a jump once his seventh-place finish in the $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw 7-Handed Event.
